Alternatives to Violence Workshop, Level: Training for Apprentices, Facilitators

This is the 3rd level of three workshops on Alternatives to Violence.

This workshop is addressed to church people who work with displaced people, young people, indigenous people or poor widow women who have suffered the consequences of the Colombian social armed conflict. The workshop will be attended by people who have just taken the two first levels: Basic and Advanced.

 

After the workshop people can become multipliers of this peace formation to new participants.

 

The programme includes: Affirmation and self-esteem, Solving conflicts with non-violent and creative strategies, building communities, active communication. The aim is to find out and use the inner spiritual,moral or ethical force to choose nonviolence when facing conflicts. And also to confirm that everybody can be a nonviolent person.

 

These workshops are supported by the Scholarship Program for groups of the World Council of Churches.
